ACT offers free tutoring services to help enrolled CSU students succeed in math, science, writing, and the humanities. The services of the ACT are for undergraduate students and, to a limited degree, graduate students. We are a pedagogical service, not an editing service.

ACT March Random Drawing Winners
Students who use ACT services and actively attend their appointments are automatically entered to win in our random drawing during the 2nd-4th months of the semester to win a token gift. Two winners will be drawn from the math and science tutoring appointments and from the writing and humanities tutoring appointments.

Faculty: Request a Class Visit by an ACT Representative
We will be happy to visit one or more of your classes to describe our services and answer student questions. After a planning meeting with you, we can also perform longer writing tutorials or writing workshops. To have a 10 - 15 minute presentation, please complete the online Class Visit Request Form . All fields are required, excluding the last text box, labeled Specific Instructions/Requests. You use the same form for our longer tutorials or workshops.
Student Veterans Needed for a CSU ACT Study
The director of the ACT is conducting a study to investigate the tutoring and writing instruction needs of student veterans at Columbus State University. The study is "Student Veterans' Academic Learning and Writing Experience." To discover more information and participate, please complete the following form.
