Academic Center for Tutoring

We are here to help you! We offer free tutoring services to help enrolled CSU students succeed in math, science, writing, and the humanities. We also have assistance for learning how to use CougarVIEW, resume/cover letter advising, and study skills development. You can read about our mission on the Mission page. To read about our policies, including our expectations, visit our Policies page.

The ACT has tutoring available online and face to face. All tutoring will be by appointment. See the appointment page to make an appointment. You can make your own appointments through the EAB system at least one day in advance. If you have trouble with EAB, please contact us by emailing or by calling 706-507-8646 (you can leave a message if no one answers and someone will return your call). If you need a same-day appointment please contact us by email or phone and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Note: The CSU library will have laptops available to check out for use taking online classes as well as for participating in online tutoring. Contact the library for more information (706-507-8670).

Class Visits

Faculty/staff can request to have a tutor visit your class or group in person or virtually. Note that tutors can virtually visit live online classes as well as face to face classes in classrooms that are equipped with a computer and projector. In order to request a visit, please fill out this Google Form. Please contact us if you have any questions. If you would like to share a video with your class instead of a class visit, you can use this one.
